Office Standards

  • Open Communication - Dental care is a personal experience that is different for everyone. Whenever you place yourself in the care of another individual, the relationship is based on open communication, respect and trust. We are not perfect and if anything does not meet your expectations, please bring it to our attention.
  • Comfort - The need for dental care can create anxiety and even fear in many people. Our business cards read Healthy Smiles, Gentle Personalized Care. We will discuss your preferences for dental treatment, and make every effort to assure your comfort, including nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas) and CD headphones with your favorite music.
  • Respect for Time - We respect that your time is as valuable as ours. Although emergencies do arise, we do everything possible to be on time for your reserved appointment. We expect the same respect for your fellow patient and for our time. Most people don't think about it, but if you cancel an appointment on short notice or miss a reserved appointment time, many people are inconvenienced including another patient who was denied that time. We ask that you review your commitments carefully before reserving time with us.
  • Dental Insurance - Despite changes recently, dental insurance is a wonderful benefit. Think of it like a gift certificate provided to you by your employer. Please understand that dental insurance is geared to the least expensive professionally adequate care, which does not always lead to a lifetime of optimal dental health. In addition, unlike medical insurance that provides benefits for catastrophic illness, dental insurance has a defined yearly benefit that often does not cover problems caused by years of dental disease. Your dental insurance will defray the cost of your care and we are pleased to assist you in obtaining the maximum benefits.
  • Fees and Financial Arrangements - One thing on every person's mind is how they are going to pay for the dental care they want or need. Optimal dental care can be affordable. Before any treatment is performed, an estimate and discussion of fees and anticipated insurance benefits will be provided. We are very good at staying within a budget. In some cases, complex optimal dental treatment can be completed over a period of time - quality is the constant, time is the variable. Many of our patients have used CareCredit - check out their website for more information. We also take Visa and MasterCard.
  • Referral - Yes, we are taking new patients. Many people have not enjoyed the benefits of personalized comprehensive dental care. We welcome the referral of your family and friends, it is the greatest compliment you could pay us.
